Domestic traders were inactive throughout the day, with only a small number of spot cargo offers concluded. [SMM Yangshan Spot Copper]

        September 24, 2025: Today, warrant prices were $52-62/mt, QP October, with the average price down $1/mt from the previous trading day; B/L prices were $53-65/mt, QP October, with the average price flat from the previous trading day; EQ copper (CIF B/L) was $30-38/mt, QP October, with the average price up $1/mt from the previous trading day. Offers referred to cargoes arriving in late September and early October.

        Traders showed little activity, downstream buying was also weak, and inquiries and transactions were hardly heard in the market. ER copper warrants were heard closed at $62-67, QP October; B/Ls for Japan and South Korea arriving in late September were heard offered at $58-63, QP October; B/Ls for two brands arriving in late September were offered at $68-75, QP October, with some for November; EQ B/Ls for late September to late October were offered at $35-45, with limited actual transactions heard at $35-40, QP October.
